General hire, Corporate functions, Group events, Formals etc. We require a 30% deposit on all bookings hired and your booking is confirmed when deposit is paid. The balance is due and payable 21 working days prior to your event. To confirm and hold the booking credit card details must be given. If  it is cancelled your deposit paid will not be refunded it is a Non Refundable deposit paid  the deposit already paid will be forfeited to cover costs incurred and it is not transferable. Please note that all deposits are non refundable.

 

Deposits: A 30% payment of total cost is due upon booking. The balance is due 3 weeks prior to hire, unless pre-arranged with management. Please note that all deposits are non refundable. The hirer does accept that when deposit has been paid, that they have accepted all Terms & Conditions. If the person hiring North Shore Limousines cancels their booking within 14 days prior to the date, the full amount is to be paid by the person hiring North Shore Limousines.

 

 Wedding hire: Conditions on Deposit Paid If there is to be a cancellation it must be made 30 days prior to wedding in writing, by email otherwise the balance of the total $dollar hire for the job will be required to be paid in its entirety.  It should be also noted that the deposit already paid by the hirer will not be refunded and will be forfeited to cover costs incurred and it is not at all  transferable. Once you have agreed to details in email, and paid your deposit and confirmed your hire booking, if you have changes this must be given within 30 days of the wedding taking place, otherwise we  do have the actual right to refuse any such changes due to our tight booking schedules.

 

NOTE: if you have booked our hummer for a hiring job and you do a No show or you cancel at the last minute you will be required to pay for the full amount price quoted. Waiting time/and Overtime: Whilst we will accommodate passengers during their hiring time, if you are late and keep the hummer waiting for 15 minutes upon arrival, and departure overtime and waiting time may be charged in the 15 minute increments should the hire booking go past the finish time of said booking, This charge will be either paid by credit card or is to be paid direct to the Driver at end of travel in cash at a rate of $100 per 15 minutes. North Shore Limousines will endeavour to get you and your group to your hired destination safely, comfortably and on time, however there are other things that do happen and human allowances must be made for traffic jams and holdups and , weather, sickness or vehicle breakdowns, etc. We cannot be held liable for those mentioned circumstances which are beyond our control. Should there be a mishap or vehicle breakdown another vehicle from will be dispatched to complete your function. Note that our Terms & Conditions also cover subcontract cars and Drivers brought in, in an emergency. No refund will be forthcoming or delivered.

 

 Insurances: Our Insurance Policy covers all authorized persons travelling in the vehicle en route (going to) their hired destination.  passengers assume personal liability when entering and exiting our hummer vehicle. We reserve the right and demand full compensation and payment of any damage caused by the passengers or hiring parties or groups travelling in vehicles. Alcohol: The person booking the vehicle takes full responsibility that all alcohol brought into the vehicle for consumption whilst on route is done so by persons over 18 years of age. Food: No food is to be consumed inside vehicles whilst en route to destination. Smoking: There is no smoking and any form of contraband permitted to be used in vehicle.

 

Seatbelts: Seat belts are fitted to all vehicles it is the passengers responsibility to wear them.

 

Extra Conditions:

The hirer shall be responsible for the stupid behaviour of all passengers (everyone in hummer) and (will) shall be held responsible for any damage caused to our hummer vehicle. This includes irrational behaviour resulting in damage to the vehicle or its contents by a third party. The hirer must and will fully agree to be held liable for the retail (commercial) cost of any repair as a consequence of any damage caused by yourself or third party.

Irresponsible and vandalized behaviour that causes damage to the hummer vehicle or endangers the safety and duty of care of other passengers will not ever be tolerated. This includes, but is not restricted to: sitting on the exterior of the vehicle, hanging out of windows, shouting abuse, rudeness sticking up your fingers out of the windows throwing water bottles or any object out of the window and intolerance with the driver, arguing with the driver, swearing at the driver any misuse of equipment, fixtures or consumables within the hummer as well as damage to the exterior of the vehicle.

NOTE: The driver or operator of the hired vehicle at time of job has the right and will refuse any person or persons from our hummer who is behaving irresponsible and badly and the driver has the right and will terminate and cancel job at hand without a refund. Missing or Damaged Equipment or fittings to the hummer: In the case of any deliberate or malicious damage done to the vehicle, then the repair will be quoted at a cost plus with an additional administration fee charged by North Shore Limousines.

 

Repairs to Vehicle: Any repairs that are required will be correctly and appropriately quoted by a qualified repairer. Missing Glasses or Broken Glasses ‐ there will be a surcharge (extra charge) of $20 for each glass that is deliberately broken whilst the car is being hired by yourself. (Champagne flutes and tumblers)

 

Cleaning Fee: An additional cleaning fee will be due to inappropriate, vandalised or irrational behaviour will be charged at a flat rate of $350. (This includes carpet steam clean and washes down inside our hummer vehicle.) Opening of the emergency hatch in the roof is forbidden. This is used for emergencies only and hefty fines will apply if not adhered to. Such behaviour will or may, at the discretion of the driver Duncan James Sanderson from North Shore Limousines, will result in immediate termination cancellation of the hire of the hummer vehicle without compensation. In addition, the hirer of the hummer vehicle will and shall be held totally liable for any damage  and vandalism caused by this behaviour.

 

The hirer accepts that the DVD, CD, TV’s music system, and other equipment (air conditioning) is provided as a courtesy. In the event that the equipment that is installed and fitted to the vehicle malfunctions prior to or during the hire, North Shore Limousines accepts no  (zero) liability whatsoever and no compensation shall be provided nor will the Company provide a refund.

 

Credit Card Charges: Payments by Credit card will attract a surcharge as follows: MasterCard & Visa – 2%;

Privacy Policy: All personal identifiable information collected is treated in the strictest confidence and will not be disclosed in full or in part to anyone other than North Shore Limousines booking and billing bureau. Note: due to the length of the new stretch limousines, access into some suburban streets may be restricted and pickup/drop offs at front door may not be achievable. North Shore Limousines Terms & Conditions are current and subject to change without notice. 

DRUG & ALCOHOL POLICY

As a responsible Operator of Bus Charters & Tours, around Sydney, we are committed to a ZERO tolerance on Drugs & Alcohol.

We aim to achieve our goal, through the following objectives:

Ø Active commitment by Management

Ø Ongoing identification & review of hazards

Ø The establishment of procedures for all activities that have been identified as posing a risk

Ø The provision of all relevant training & information to employees & contractors

As we operate on a zero tolerance policy, the associated risk to the operation is diminished.

A risk assessment has determined that there is no requirement for any supporting or testing measures.

Should the Manager suspect a Driver, then the NSW Police will be asked to intercept & test the Driver.

Any Driver found to be under the influence of Drugs or Alcohol; will have their employment terminated immediately.
